At JB Party Rental & More in Hamilton, Ontario, we believe in clear communication and straightforward dealings. Our rental terms and conditions are designed to ensure a smooth, enjoyable, and transparent experience for all our customers. Detailed rental policies

1. Booking & deposits

A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure your event date. The remaining balance must be paid in full upon arrival. We recommend booking early to ensure availability for your desired items.

2. Delivery & setup

Our rates include standard setup and teardown of all rental equipment. Please note that delivery fees may apply for locations outside the radius of our Hamilton, Ontario warehouse. We coordinate delivery times to best suit your event schedule.

3. Power requirements

For certain high-demand items like our 360 Photo Booth, Skee-Ball, and Karaoke setups, the renter must provide a dedicated 110V/15A power outlet within 50 feet of the setup location. Please ensure adequate power is available to avoid disruptions.

4. Deposit & Cancellation

​360 Photo Booth

​The deposit for the 360 Photo Booth is strictly non-refundable.

• ​Reasoning: Once your event details are provided, our team begins immediate technical preparation and custom digital overlay design. Because labor and resources are committed shortly after booking, we cannot offer refunds on this service.

​Event Games & Equipment

​Includes: Arcade Basketball, Skee-Ball, Giant Jenga, Life-size Connect 4, and Karaoke Speaker.

• ​72-Hour Window: You have 72 hours before your booking to cancel these items for a full refund of the deposit.

• ​Late Cancellation: If a cancellation is made after the 72-hour grace period, the deposit is forfeited and becomes non-refundable.

5. Weather  Policy

​The safety of your guests and the integrity of our equipment are our top priorities.

• ​Safety Standards: Outdoor equipment cannot be operated in rain, lightning, or high winds (exceeding 15 mph).

• ​Indoor Backup: We strongly recommend having an indoor backup location. If the event is moved indoors, the full rental fee applies.

• ​Weather Credit: If outdoor setup is impossible and no indoor alternative is available, your deposit will be issued as a service credit valid for one (1) calendar year from the original event date.

6. Liability & damage

The renter assumes all responsibility for the equipment once it is delivered to your event location. Any damage beyond normal wear and tear, or loss of items (such as Jenga blocks or microphones), will be billed at full replacement cost. Please handle our items with care.

All-In Pricing: The price you see includes the heavy lifting. We don’t tack on 'convenience fees' or 'assembly surcharges' at the last minute.
Clear Communication: Our 4-hour and Full-Day rates are clearly defined so you can budget accurately without guessing about overtime.
Real-World Flexibility: We know things happen. That’s why we provide clear guidelines on weather and setup requirements upfront, rather than burying them in fine print to be used as penalties later.
Safety as a Standard: We don’t charge extra for the 'basics' like safety weights for Jenga or professional lighting for the 360 booth. If it’s necessary for the item to work safely and look great, it’s included.
